The 3rd Quarter was one to remember for Point Clear Republican Women!
In July we kicked off the quarter with a splash at our Annual Fish Fry Fundraiser! The sun was shining, the fish were frying, the tunes were flowin’ with live music from the one and only Gretsch Lyles and The Modern Eldorados for a sold out packed house of 220+ in attendance! But the real catch was the $12,000.00 we raised and donated to The Baldwin County Veterans Court! A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored and joined the party, We were also so honored to see Congressman Barry Moore presented with the Quilt of Valor and we celebrated Heather Moore’s birthday in style!
August: A Townhall to Remember!
We packed the house for a live Townhall Meeting with the amazing Congressman Barry Moore and his lovely wife Heather, hosted by the incredible Bryan Dawson’ Founder/CEO of 1819 News! It was an inspiring testament to their faith and dedication to God and Country. We were blown away by their passion and commitment to our community!
September: We headed to Orlando, FL, for the National Federation of Republican Women Biennial Convention, and we brought home the bling! We’re still pinching ourselves over the FOUR National awards we received:
– National Diamond Achievement Award
– 70K Club with greatest percentage increase in NFRW
– 70K Club with greatest percentage increase in state
– 70K Club with greatest Numeric Increase in State
In September we also had another unforgettable liveTownhall Meeting with Alabama Lt. Governor Will Ainsworth, hosted by the fantastic Bryan Dawson of 1819 News! We learned about the incredible accomplishments in our great state and the exciting future plans for our favorite Lt. Governor Will Ainsworth.
We’re beyond thankful for the support and help that has made these accomplishments possible. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey! We couldn’t have done it without you! Let’s keep making a difference and empowering women in our community! #PointClearRPW #Grateful #WomenEmpoweringWomen
